Soma Gardens is a “budding” farm in Burke County, North Carolina, USA. Soma aims to provide fresh veggies, eggs, and decorative transplants to our local communities by Summer 2025.

Soma Gardens is also a research farm. Soma’s Mission is to advance farming practices that are both prosperous and ecologically restorative.

Currently one person, Josh Terrell, runs Soma Gardens. Restoring harmony with wildlife is a heavy motivator in my work, and I’ve fostered a beautiful diversity of bug and plant life in my gardens as a result 😌

Research & Updates

Soma’s Research depicts learnings that I’ve captured thus far. I am currently investigating how to rapidly improve heavy clay soil without tilling as my partner and I search for land.
